Louis-Philippe Dumoulin at Riverside International Speedway

NASCAR Canadian Tire Series: Second to last race of the season

LP Dumoulin - n°47 WeatherTech Canada-Bellemare2012-08-17-2498Louis-Philippe Dumoulin will be participating in the Wilson Equipment Limited « 300 », the second to last race of the season in Antigonish, Nova Scotia this Saturday September 15th 2012. Throughout the season, it is with perseverance and by demonstrating his aptitudes as a driver on both oval and road circuits, that the Quebecer has earned the respect of the series’ top contenders.

This time last year, at the wheel of a car that was not prepared for an oval track, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin had to withdraw from the race due to engine complications. But this year on the Riverside International Speedway, the 2011 Rookie of the Year Champion is determined to compete amongst the leaders at the wheel of the n°47 WeatherTech Canada/ Bellemare Dodge.

« I am eager to return to this oval track and I like the Maritimes, this is a very, very nice track with lots of inclination. At Barrie, we were competing for a podium finish, and with this years’ WeatherTech Canada/Bellemare car and the work put in by the team, it is certain that we are lining up to be up front in Antigonish », shares Louis-Philippe Dumoulin.

Tenacity, audacity and conviction define this WeatherTech Canada/Bellemare driver. Without exception he makes it his primary goal to compete amongst the leaders in each event and keeps his determination to reach his seasons’ objective: to finish in the championships’ top-5.

« It is the second to last race of the season and we are in a position to get the fifth place in the championship. Since the beginning we have been competing with the veterans of the series, and we will continue to until the end », explains the international driving coach, teaching at various renowned North American driving schools.
