He was thankful.  “Thank you, Juan Pablo!” the Michael Waltrip Racing driver boomed from Victory Lane. “If you’re still here, thank you Juan Pablo!” Assuming the lead on a late restart in Friday night’s Virginia 529 College Savings 250 at Richmond International Raceway, Kevin Harvick ended a 30-race NASCAR Nationwide Series drought dating to the fall race at Richmond in 2010.

Round Four: 2012 Canadian Rally Championship

2012-09-08-18682012-09-08-1694The fourth round of the Canadian Rally Championship was held this past weekend in the Quebec Laurentians and Outaouais regions. Rallye Défi turned into what has been one of the toughest events in years, with only 13 of 29 teams completing the circuit. Antoine L’Estage of St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Que. and his co-driver Nathalie Richard of Halifax in their Rockstar Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution earned second place overall, ending their winning streak at four but increasing their lead in the series standings.
