GP2 - DAMS - Davide ValsecchiGP2 - iSport International - Jolyon PalmerDAMS ace quickest in closely fought qualifying session in Malaysia. Davide Valsecchi set the quickest laptime early in today’s qualifying session with a 1:45.494 on his third lap and was never bettered although his rivals came mighty close with the top five drivers finishing within the same tenth of a second. Lotus building burns down at Sepang

No one was injured in the blaze, which was caused by a faulty fridge.

FIA says Red Bull ‘engine trick’ not illegal

F1’s governing body has cleared Red Bull and Renault following accusations they are deploying an ‘illegal engine trick’.

Ferrari to race ‘new car’ in Bahrain – report

Ferrari might only have to suffer for two more races, according to a report in the Spanish sports daily Marca.

Raikkonen admits ‘minor doubts’ about return

Kimi Raikkonen has admitted he travelled to Australia recently unsure if he would be immediately back up to speed in formula one.
