Age no barrier for IRC’s Fast Freddy

Multiple Intercontinental Rally Challenge event winner Freddy Loix insists turning 41 won’t slow him down.

Loix celebrated his 41st birthday in his native Belgium last week. Although he has yet to finalise his programme for 2012 he says he has no intention of easing off the throttle.

Bryan Herta Autosport confirms partnership with Lotus for 2012

Additional details of BHA’s 2012 program will be announced in the coming weeks.

A costly and angry day for Merhi in Macau

The two sides of fortune have been apparent at the start of the 58th Macau Grand Prix for Roberto Merhi.

F3 - Macau - Roberto MerhiThe Prema driver flew around the Chinese street track to take provisional pole position in first qualifying, becoming the first Spaniard in history to achieve the feat. But the day ended on the  receiving end of a severe grid penalty for Saturday’s opening race.

ACT Teams will receive over $100,000 in point fund awards

Fastest time for Roberto Merhi in first qualifying

Roberto Merhi already moved up to the top of the time sheets at the start of the first qualifying session.

At the rain-soaked 6.12 kilometres long Guia circuit, the Spaniard set the fastest time from Marco Wittmann (Signature, 2:30.535 minutes) and Felipe Nasr (Carlin, 2:30.639 minutes).
