“This is a great opportunity for anybody to come and see the inner workings of a top class motorsport team”
Calvin Brady, senior business consultant at GroupOn said: “It’s an exciting partnership with iSport. We are offering a thrilling chance to go behind the scenes with the team at the GP2 championship test which is the first step in what will hopefully be a long and productive relationship.”
The deal, which runs on Thursday (http://www.groupon.co.uk/deals/london-special/isport-international/312987), will allow the public to get up close and personal with the race team, meet and talk to the drivers, practice a pit stop, see how the telemetric data is analysed, and even sit in the car.
Paul Jackson, iSport’s team principal commented: “It’s not always possible for motorsport fans to get as close to the teams as they’d like.Whilst we have very limited space at a race weekend, we have more time to give our guests attention during a test, and this is a great opportunity for anybody to come and see the inner workings of a top class motorsport team.”
At the test for iSport will be Sam Bird, who is twenty three and seems likely to be the next British driver in Formula 1.
