2011 ‘proximity wing’ rule not set in stone

The idea, giving chasing drivers the ability to reduce drag and therefore better mount overtaking moves, was championed by the teams association and recently rubber-stamped by the FIA. Pirelli eyes Raikkonen for F1 tyre testing

Kimi Raikkonen could be asked to test formula one tyres for the sport’s new exclusive supplier Pirelli.

PirelliIt has emerged that the Italian company will supply two sets of tyres to each team at a special Abu Dhabi test immediately after November’s season finale. Audi boss Ullrich says no to F1

Audi has clearly rejected speculation its name might soon appear above a formula one garage door.

Audi It has been reported for some time that the German carmaker’s parent Volkswagen could be interested in entering the sport as an engine supplier.
