Cosworth ready for final pre-season push in Barcelona

“Barcelona should offer us an even better insight into where we all are in overall performance terms.”

Cosworth was further buoyed by the performance of its CA2010 engine during last week’s four-day test session at the Circuito de Jerez in southern Spain, in spite of the intermittent and often heavy rain that blighted the opening days. HRH The Duke of York visits Lotus Racing factory

The Duke’s visit was a landmark occasion for Lotus Racing

Just one day after Lotus Racing’s Hingham factory was officially opened by former Malaysian Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir, the team played host to HRH The Duke of York. Team Principal Tony Fernandes and Chief Technical Officer Mike Gascoyne gave the Duke an official tour of the team’s facility and presented him with a commemorative set of his own Lotus Racing overalls. Team Aluminos adds to season win total at Prokart Challenge North

Leesmann, Smith and Fraser all pilot Aluminos-prepped machines to victory at Infineon

The opening round of the SKUSA ProKart Challenge North program  was a successful event for the Team Aluminos squad. At the Jim Russell International Karting Center in Sonoma, California, Team Aluminos used their home track knowledge to put three of their five drivers competing on top of the podium, with a runner-up finish added in for good measure. Jake Rosenzweig signs for Super Nova

Jake Rosenzweig will contest the remaining two rounds of GP2 Asia in Bahrain for the team.

The 20 year old American driver is no stranger to Super Nova, after completing a successful main series test at Paul Ricard in November 2009. After a disappointing weekend in Abu Dhabi the team believe that Jake has the ability to deliver the strong points finishes needed to consolidate its position in the top three of the GP2 Asia Championship. All confirmed 2010 teams with the exception of Campos and USF1 will test for four days between Thursday and Sunday, in what is the final official pre-season track outing prior to the Bahrain opener in less than three weeks. F1 wants Bridgestone to stay in 2011 – report

A Michelin spokesman said recently the French marque “might consider” returning to F1

F1 is reportedly working to convince its official tyre supplier Bridgestone to stay in formula one beyond this year. The Japanese supplier, constantly involved in F1 since 1997 and the official sole supplier between 2008-2010, has announced it will withdraw from the sport at the end of this season.
